Every revival throughout history started with prayer. We need to soak ourselves in the new move of the Spirit, by repenting, praying, worshiping, and hungering for God. All these activities create in us a readiness to usher in the glory of God. We are all here for one reason, which is to reveal the Kingdom of God. When revival starts, it is like a flooding river which, when it starts moving, often dredges up what is at the bottom before the flood cleanses the impurities away. That is what is happening in the lives of people now. It is important to stay open and non-judgmental towards what the Spirit is doing. God’s desire is for His people to be sensitive to- and stay in his presence which will prevent us from having the wrong reactions to negative things happening around us. God fills hungry hearts – when we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us and fill us with a renewed passion for Christ and life.
