Throughout the whole Bible the supernatural miracles of God are portrayed. Expectation is the fuse that lights the dynamite of faith. Jesus was a man approved of God by miracles. The miracles of Jesus are visible manifestations of God’s divine power, an awe-inspiring spectacle and an instructive revelation about God. Many times the miracles that happen in our lives are signs that God is with us, loves us and is interested in us. Miracles are just an ordinary, everyday work of God and our everyday work is to finish that which Jesus had begun. There are two groups of miracles – supernatural and ordinary or natural miracles. Supernatural miracles have no explanation and defy all the laws of nature, i.e. when Jesus walked on water. There are natural miracles with which could be explained away or pass us by if we are not aware and expecting for them to happen. God does extraordinary miracles in our lives through the rules of economics, employment, education, inspiration, relationship, romance and psychological stamina. Let us recognise these miracles as totally God-given and be faithful in listening and doing what He tells us to do in order to activate the mechanisms of heaven. God is willing and able to do the miracles which we need.
