We have received from Jesus not a covenant, but an inheritance through a will (the New Testament). The difference between the Old and New Testaments is the powerful indwelling of the Spirit. The Spirit lifts us into the realm of authority. Jesus is the branch, the stone. We are the living stones built upon him forming the house of which the glory shall be greater than that of the former (Solomon’s temple). This glory is the fulness and ceaseless and fresh supply of the Spirit to us which means we have the nature of Jesus, have a continuous anointing and experience no lack in any area of our lives as well as having intimacy with God. Operating from the realm of the Spirit is to be at rest and God graciously does the work – which is the blessing of a testament versus the strenuous effort that is inherent to a covenant. In this manner your mountains become a level plain.
